Welcome to our kennel
We are a small, family kennel that specializes in the ‘original type’ English Staffordshire Bull Terriers. Staffies are wonderful companions and make great family pets. They are a very intelligent dog and strive to please their master; relationships are important to them. Staffies have a very friendly temperament with people, especially with children- this has rightfully earned them the nickname of “nanny dog!” They have a lot of energy, so exercise is essential to their health and happiness. Although they may not be for everyone, they will make a great companion and addition to your home, if you will give them the attention they desire.
OUR MISSION
We strive to preserve and maintain the breed standard of Staffordshire Bull Terriers, including temperament and type, by raising healthy puppies and finding suitable homes for them that will give them the love, attention and exercise they need to live a happy, fulfilled life!
A LITTLE ABOUT US
I grew up on a family farm in northern Indiana and have always loved working with animals. There is something therapeutic and satisfying about taking care of any animal. After not having animals for a number of years, I had the privilege of apprenticing and managing a kennel of Staffies for one of my friends. I was hooked on the breed right away! I loved their temperament, their personality, their looks and especially the way they love on people and kids! There’s a reason they are called ‘nanny dogs.’ After researching and working with the breed for a while, we purchased our first female and currently have two females. We are not a big kennel and are not planning on raising a lot of puppies, but we want to help others enjoy these wonderful dogs!
